Dr. Shakthinag

Meet Dr. Shakthinag S, a distinguished educator and medical researcher with a passion for advancing the fields of medicine and physiology. Dr. Shakthinag completed his MBBS degree at TD Medical College in Alappuzha, Kerala, and continued his educational journey by obtaining an MD from the prestigious Goa Medical College.

Currently, Dr. Shakthinag serves as a Senior Resident (SR) at the North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health & Medical Sciences in Shillong. His dedication to the field is evident through his notable achievements, including the establishment of the only functioning autonomic function lab in Meghalaya. Driven by a thirst for knowledge and innovation, he is actively engaged in groundbreaking research in the areas of autonomic function and music physiology.

Dr. Shakthinag's diverse interests encompass neurocognitive physiology and pioneering work aimed at developing investigations for the diagnosis and prognosis of clinical depression. His dedication to the field and the pursuit of knowledge make him a beacon of inspiration for students and colleagues alike.
